| History |
At GP Plantscape we have a 130 year tradition of providing a personal service and delivering results.
Our guiding principles are clearly set out in “The GP Way” and are the reason we are now one of the largest independent interior and exterior landscaping companies in the UK, with a turnover exceeding £4.5 million. GP Plantscape are the leading independent family owned landscaping company in Scotland with partnering links in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. The Gilchrist family who own the company, previously trading as Gilchrist Plants Ltd, have been in the horticulture industry for over 150 years with many of the current staff involved with the family for over ten years and some for 15 and 20 years. We currently employ around 100 permanent staff dealing with interior and exterior servicing of plant displays, installations, accounts, administration and sales.
