Plants For Homes - Facts about Plants
GP Plants For Homes
Whilst enjoying your plant and container you may have some questions?

My plants have yellow leaves, what should I do?

Don't panic.

Occasional yellow leaves are a normal side effect of the growing process. As new leaves are formed older ones will tend to die off.

Additional Wildlife

I have noticed some small black flies around the office that seem to be coming from plants. How do I resolve this?

Occasionally the small black flies, called 'Sciarid Flies', can find their way into the plant compost.

They are active where any damp locations exist, such as the moist compost or perhaps debris for example discarded apple cores in bins or from the outside environment.

I think my plant has died?

It is extremely unlikely that you should experience complete plant death but as we are dealing with a living product it is not impossible.

Factors which could have contributed to this are the age and type of the plant, or the timing of the watering or feeding.

Other factors such as the addition of fluids, especially tea or coffee, to the soil by others, moving the plant to an unfavourable environment or damage caused by excessively low temperatures.
